Biblical Elders

 

Elders, as shepherd-leaders of Jesus' body, the Church, are responsible for the spiritual welfare of the congregation under the Scriptural authority of Christ. They are responsible for the guiding, feeding, protecting and correcting the membership of the Church.

 

We take very seriously the biblical qualifications and role of Christian eldership according to the Scriptures (1 Timothy 3:1-7, 5:17-22, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-7, Acts 14:23, Matthew 18:15-17, Acts 20:28-31).
